Call of Duty: Black Ops

Oh my word! I just can't get into this game online. It's so frustrating. I'm thinking because i never played WaW i've sort of been sucked into InfinityWards multiplayer and i can't alter my game to play BlackOps now. People take half of guns clips to die, RC cars, the 'wtf i've just sprayed him with bullets and he shot me twice and i'm dead' that seems to happen all the time.

And does anyone else get insane FPS drop whenever there's any sort of air attack like napalm strikes?

no to the last bit and id say this game is far more like mw2 than waw

I think everyone has those problems, they are making patches for them, I hope they can do something for the frame rate drop because that really annoys me.

Agreed although I love nuketown as well. Had a bash on the training against the bots and I even like that. Nice to play around with the killstreaks and attachments to see what I like to use.

Definately the best COD MP yet with Cod4 a close 2nd for me.
 
It might be nice to actually get a game where people don't rage quit all the damn time. It wasn't much of a problem in MW2 because it actually found players to replace the quitters, but black ops just seems like it can't be arsed to find people most of the time. I was playing Domination earlier and we were getting beat by 60 points, but eventually we capped all 3 and took the lead and as soon as that happened the enemy team had 2 people left on it. After that it was cat and mouse chasing the spawns around the map trying to keep them off the flags, which got boring fast.

I only seem to have this problem in objective games though, but in TDM where it would actually help the team if the crap players quit they insist on staying in :confused:
 
Under the Multi-player it has an option called combat training, which can be done alone or with friends. Try the Veteran bots for a laugh :p

Whilst I love it I do have a soft spot for COD4 still.
In terms of MP for me its:
COD 4 > Black Ops > MW2 > WaW

That is based on the time it was out though, so playing COD 4 now would probably change my opinion and make Black Ops the best.

I would have thought the same had I not tried it again recently. Its amazing how much it's dated. Although at the time as you say it was awesome.
