Well I am still finding signs and stuff since our work got griefed, a shame people have to be such dicks to be honest..
Thanks for setting up the server gar, we have pretty much given up now.

Oh and Andy planted the millions of trees, thought he was cool but just got more and more annoying.

Signs and Stuff? Elaborate? dont stop due to other people being morons.
I'm hoping that if anyone else notices someone else griefing, they'll alert Gars etc, not just watch
Might want to edit the T word as well just incase
Editing ours signs etc trying to be funny, some are but there are just too many. Were load of blocks created / deleted as well. Maybe just minecrafted out, isn't so enjoyable when people just take the mick.
Well tbh I'd get annoyed with people editting my signs, i'd have put them there for a reason not to just be editted.
Is your house area not protected yet then? As apparently once it is anything extra you place 'within the designated area' should be protected also

Unless something major was done that I didn't notice then I personally thought the signs were quite funny and hardly something to throw the toys out the pram for.
I understand you guys thought your tower was griefed too but as far as I'm aware it was a casualty of the fire verado used to clear the trees but it was rebuilt by ver and a couple of others.
Well it was still under construction so no. Also our house had to have protection taken off after the fire broken out.
If they had done half of what they did, I wouldn't be too ****ed, but putting stuff in hard to reach places just makes me angry.
I still suspect it was a group of people which makes it worse.
Had the sign changing stuff on server one, it was funny to start with, "Eggface's House" etc. But then it just got a little boring, and then annoying. Can't say I've seen it on the new server although I've not been on there much over the last week.
The signs were me lads. Sorry, thought you guys would find it funny.

It was funny to begin with, but then got a little excessive, as GTAMADOGG said they got pretty annoying.
Yeah Windle I am not one to complain about the fire, and we know it didn't get griefed, nice to get rid of the trees and appreciate you guys rebuilding it. It wasn't just the signs, random blocks everywhere, some letting water out etc, but as someone had admitted it I am not one to hold a grudge.
Good news about the update, respawning block bug is highly annoying.
From what I know Gar is trying to work out protection for multiple people, not sure how far he has got but whenever he works it out it would be good.
But as my thinking goes still don't think it was just Macky, so much was done I am sure a few more people pitched in.
Just had to raise the issue, stopped us progressing, got 2 more layers to do, and have to rework the tower to something different.
Anyway thanks again Macky for owning up, I forgive you

the whole signs thing, i dont really use them for that reason, unless it's a protected area but even then i think there's a bit of a bug with signs in protected area as the sign pops back but sometimes its blank (when somebody breaks it, that is)

There was a lot of us there but us normal playes cant do any damage to your blocks or surround trees due to protection we also couldn't set fires so no one was else was involved in that way. But there was about 4 of us around watching the fire spread at crazy speeds.

I’m also looking into fixing a bunch of lag issues, specifically the returning blocks after mining them bug
As I would hate to lose players from the server as they may be thinking it's our server thats just laggy. It's not my host it's the buggy game.

Compress it using windows movie maker, doesn't need to be of great quality, fire vids are always interesting. Scary as hell when they are spreading though.
As the server grows we are getting more members starting to play in turn we are getting more conflicts.
It's going to happen not everyone is going to get on with each other but it needs controlling, it's a job that I dont have the time to do.
I am looking for some members to be server enforcers you need to be neutral & understanding not to strict & not a wanabe power admin.
The three admins we have at the moment may want the job.
I am not going to tell you that as admins you got to do it as it was not part of the deal when you frist became admins.
To become a admin there is a £5 a month fee, you will be given a two weeks trial so no payment would be needed till 1st Dec.
Admins will be able to to ban members in game using the /ban command but I will have the final say if it's a perm ban.
There may be some cases where instant /ban would needed like the players is going on a distorying rampage.
Just to make it clear no member has done anything that I know of so far that needs a ban, I need to put this in place so if something does happen we are ready for it.
So if you want the job do a post, admins that we have at the moment tell me in game if you want the job.
