Cataclyst 10.11 being released today

The page you linked me to gives me the download link to the 10.10e installer, which is reporting a 404 error.

well the memory now downclocks to 300mhz like it should in idle when overclocked, but the core still stays at 400mhz instead of 157mhz (5770)(
I had this to start with when I just enabled overdrive but had stock clocks. When I actually overclocked (in overdrive) then the idle clocks correctly revert to 157/300. Using a single 5850 and happy now.

You can fix the pink hue yourself :

Open the CCC.

Select 'Desktop & Displays ' from the graphics menu in the top left corner.

In the bottom left corner there's a monitor graphic with a black triangle beside it.

Click the triangle and select 'Configure' from the menu.

Click the 'Color' tab and at the bottom change 'Color Temperature Control' to be 6500k.

Thats the tip I used when 10.10 came out and it will help others here too.

It didn't quire do a good enough job for me though, 6700 temp worked best for natural colours on my mid-range LCD. and it helps changing your monitors colour temp (in your monitors settings) to sRGB. Because this can make the screen bright, go back to your Ati control colour options and lower the brightness/contrast to -38/78 and its much better overall.

Don't know why AMD are making it harder for people by changing the driver temps, is there actually a good reason for this as I find it odd?

I also just had to set my colours to 6500 after installing 10.10e drivers.

Quite a pain to have to do that really.

PS: Flickering issues now fixed, memory staying at 1300 constantly though. Core drops down to 400.

Not here lol, clocks stay at 400/1250. Overclocking to 915/1250.

No great problem ;)

Gave these a good run out on Black Ops MP (4870 1gb), 1920x1080 8xAA, AF slider to the right right, Trilinear, High textures (Very High just outta my reach as just a wee bit stuttery), VSync off, shadows and bullets "Yes", lagometer shows all systems go. Second monitor attached ... these work just fine. Was running 10.10c which also worked so I can't and ain't complaining :)

6870 en route for Chrimbo says the missus ;)

I just went to try the 10.11s and the installer wouldn't install the display driver, only the CCC. Going to go back to the 10.10s and try the hotfix. Do I need to install the other hotfixes or does 10.10e contain them all? Beginning to wish I'd bought a 470 instead of a 6870 now.. :(

I just don't get any of these problems, got a brand new 6870 switched out my 5770 for the 6870. I then just uninstalled the drivers and downloaded 10.10 from the amd website, installed them and bobs your uncle cod bo runs like a dream and any other game i play.

Pink hue is still there for me.

And it now appeared for me for the first time with 10.11. Very annoying as I prefer to have the EDID option enabled which precludes the resetting to 6500K workaround. Don't want to go back to 10.10 as 10.11 fixes the powerplay 2D clocks problem.
