I don't know what it is, but those videos always make it look like the car is floating above the ground, and when it turns it's like it just pivots around the centre of the car without any resistance at the wheels.
That being said, maybe Forza would look the same on a teeny weeny video, I don't know.

The nascar vid looked odd. The back of the cars looked square, but then nascar isn't really something I tend to watch a lot of, so don't suspect I'll be playing too much nascar..
But the R34 vid looked well nice.
Cat wait to drive that mines car.... Need to know if it sounds right. In real life you can really hear the turbo.

Just got my new playstation. £235 with Fifa 11, should have been £245 but the checkout girl didnt have a clue what she was doing! Can't wait for this now!!

Well a dangerous mix of a bit of overtime and seeing young dead people in work today has resulted in :

and after looking at all the wheel options I was going for a Fantec Carrera, but they couldn't guarantee pre Christmas delivery so though it would be a crime to not to get the Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 Wheel and Clubsport Pedals.
The Mrs has put her foot down and told me the wheel and thus GT5/F1/Need for Speed, is not allowed in my hands until Christmas day! Now that's the definition of torture!

Oh no that is complete torture, and wow what a way to bust into owning a Ps3...
I can't believe how many are now buying a PS3 just to get their mits on GT5.... lol I do hope for the sakes of those slapping the cash down this game is REALLY good...

The last 'racing' games I've played are Carmageddon, Driver, Mario Kart and Some Need for Speed on the PC years ago

You're going to have a heck of a time with F1 2010, GT5 and Need for Speed hot pursuit...
And you've done it proper and get a wheel and the lot... And uncharted 2..?? Just to take a break from racing games eh? But again, quality game played it none stop until I completed that... Right through the night.. gf wasn't impressed.. lol
I don't know why but I have never been so keen to get a game in all my life... I really do want to balst around the top gear test track.. How childish but can't help it.. lol

FPS player on the PC but never found it to be any good on consoles so though for £10 Uncharterd 2 would do me with some PES too boot, then 25/12 hell is being unleashed!

Anyone able to tell me which version of the WheelStand Pro I need to order for the Fanatec GT3RS, and if it needs drilling mods to fit?
Please please please get Uncharted as well and play it first. There's not a massive amount of storyline etc that's carried over, but it's well worth playing first nonetheless.
No idea if it has anything to do with GT5, but we've been selling loads of PS3s at work, and it's 'only' a supermarket. Then again, £200 for a 160GB will have that effect anyway.
I don't know fully but I thought they did a universal stand that included fittings for all types of wheels...
I got the one that fits the DFGT and has a G25 /G27 bracket as well, but I don't think it would be too hard to drill some holes... Yes, I did order a wheel stand pro for my Wheel. Its being lifted off the PC and plugged into my PS3 for GT5... Gah this game is going to be taking the living room up...
I honestly can't see the gf being too chuffed with this... I'll try my luck. If you don't hear from me ever again everyone on OCUK then she's killed me over GT5 and a steering wheel in the living room... You heard it here first..!!
Just to let people know, the Collectors Edition is now available for £47.99. A quick google will find it, can't link.
Don't know what they are like for release delivery, but they're saying it's for delivery on the 24th, worth a punt for a £12 saving. Waited this long now, so even it's a day late I wont lose any sleep
For me personally it's not an issue anyway, work has me doing a pathetic course next week on Wednesday and Thursday, so can't play till Friday anyway
Just thought I'd share.

Well shock horror there are other good games on PS3
but it does seem that some people are buying one just for this game , at least Randell Floyd is getting some other good games aswell
