Assasins Creed Brotherhood Quick Look

Just make sure people spoiler tag - it aint hard :p. Especially the idiot who let slip the first quarter of the game earlier

ps3ud0

It doesn't matter, if it hasn't been released in the UK then the rule is don't talk about the content. General discussion about the game however is fine.

Got my copy yesterday and i have to say its not bad...havent really had a chance to play it properly though but so far so good.

I haven't completed AC2, should I get that before I start on this one?

Well at the start of that quick look video it does recommend playing AC2 first, I'm installing it atm though so I'll see. AC2 is worth playing through anyway, awesome game.

Got my copy from a very confused tescos last night at midnight. The staff member on the checkout took 5 mins to check what the time was to see if he was allowed to sell it.

So far from the brief play I had last night it seems they have made a fair subtle improvements to the game play. Climbing and free running feel quicker and the graphics just feel that little bit more refined than AC2

Played the early bits of the game last night. I wasn't too impressed at the start as you have to follow Nicococolo around a lot and do a bit of poncing about 'Tomb Raider' style before the story actually kicks off.

I got as far as a big 'wolf's tomb' area before logging off last night. I hate the fact that every mission in a sequence has a set of secondary like objectives, which you have to meet in order to achieve perfect 100% sync with Eizo's memories. This means a lot of bits early on in are timed...lame.

Combat seems even more simpler than AC2, which has cheesed me off. All of a sudden Eizo can pull of multiple finishing moves without you even having a say in the matter. IE. I counteract random guard, and suddenly eizo stabs him and automatically lets rip with his hidden pistol too.

I only completed AC2 a few days ago on the PC version. The 360 version of Brotherhood isn't bad graphically. Not noticed any frame rate drops yet, although AA is obviously missing.

really enjoying it so far, its very similar to AC2. seems to be a lot of hand holding at the start, which i can understand but it goes a little overboard.

framerate on the PS3 is really ropey, 360 any better?

I haven't saw any significant drops in framerate, only when changing weapons/armour.

I've noticed a bit of a drop in framerate on the xbox, and people/horses spawn randomly in front of you sometimes making it feel like it's not quite yet finished. Another rushed game for christmas? :(

anyone tried the virtual training modes yet?, five mins into the free running tasks and i was twitching like the chief inspector from the pink panther movies...

may pick up a spare controller from the supermarket, just to be safe ;)

Been getting the same really. I went to assassinate someone and I got stuck in mid air and only able to move his arms :D annoying, but funny

So far i'm enjoying it to be honest

I've got my "brotherhood" up and running and have a lot of Roma unlocked. Going good and loving it.

Same. Absolutely love the Assassins you can call. Does anyone think it is making the game too easy with the press LB = everything dies thing :p

The music with that female voice droning on as you play is driving me completely up the wall!

Took advantage of an offer and picked up a copy for £2.99, after trading the steaming **** that was Call Of Duty Black Ops.... didn't even finish that ***.

Just about to fire it up :)
