Thanks for the heads up! For all those complaining it says £28, being a student i have less than £20 in my bank, and its Downloading right now.

Without trying to be a smart arse, its actually 9p but Mr cameron needs a penny for his copy :P

I've managed to get it sorted, I've found out what my email address and password are linked to the GFWL - I think it was last Christmas I last had anything to do with it! :eek:

I've got a bigger problem now though...marketplace just won't connect to the net...just comes up with connection error - damn and double damn!!! :mad:

What can I do?
 
I was interested to see how much it really cost me, and infact, using Microsoft points, it cost me about 8p! Which means that instead of only saving £27.39 like everybody who didn't pay with Microsoft points, but I(And everybody else who payed with Microsoft points) saved £27.41.

My day is getting better and better!
 
Added to basket, went to checkout, selected to sign in with a different hotmail account and now i'm stuck with the "could not sign you out" page.

Stuff it.

Yes, just close the browser window and do it again. You'll get the blank sign-in screen then.
 
I've just got it sorted, I bought it off the website, then up popped what looked like Live Messenger but it was black and that signed me into marketplace and opened the software for the first time.

It's downloading now. :)

Don't know if it will open again once it's downloaded though!
 
if youre getting connection errors, check to see if Internet Explorer is set to work offline (it should not be set to this).
