Actually makes far more sense to me - seems more realistic order of attainment...

ps3ud0

Well i managed to find all the bits for the seat i used when playing forza 2 but for the moment i will have to use the cheapo logitech wheel with GT5 and hopefully i can get some money together for a driving force gt :) .

Not the greatest pic was off my phone .

If we are comparing homemade setups, heres mine, finished it a few days ago just in time for GT5.

Just trying to find info on various Tactile transducers, Bass Shakers and the Buttkicker range, ill then be fitting a Porsche Recaro to match the Fanatec and upgrading to the Clubsport pedals. :)

dingbat... Been called a few names before - never a dingbat lol:p

Hmmm I really just hope for all those who've purchased a Ps3 for this that its worth it, or if not they can find something else to do with a £250 games console. £250 is a lot of money in the current climate..

I see cracks, but again I'll now wait until I have the game in my Ps3...

Hope you enjoy it as much as you should matey :)

for those with the logitech driving force gt wheel, is anyone using it with an ikea jerker desk.

was thinking of getting one but when i look at the base of the wheel it looks like the desk attachment might not fit weel due to the metal bar at the front of the desk

I have that wheel. Using a a desk instead.

Correct, but as I've never used a sequential box I'm not missing anything.

The G27 has also addressed some of the build quality issues the G25 had and moved the programmable buttons from the shifter to the wheel.

I reckon the flappy paddles will be far more useful than a sequential box.

Sorry if this has been asked / mentioned already (I did search, hence quoting the above message) - but do the G27 paddles work with GT5 ? (I believe they did not work with GT5 Prolog).
