Age of Empires III - 10p. Yes. 10p.

I can't install it. It keeps trying to install to my full ssd and then complains about it even though I've told it to install on my other drive -_-

I can't even find where it's putting it on my ssd so I can delete the crap it's left behind.

Certainly sticking to steam.

You do know that you can change the install and download locations in the GFWL application.

1. Start GFWL
2. Click Settings tab (top left of the GFWL client application).

Change as u like.

Yes like I said; Even though I've told it to put it on another drive. It seems it has to extract it onto the c drive and then move it onto the other drive or something dumb.

Ah right, yeah some games extract to some part of C drive before it can install. Hated that with NwN2 as i needed like 10 gig on c drive when i had like 1gig left on that drive but plenty on the other. What i did was tell windows to put that space onto another drive.

So in win 7 for me it would be like go to Start/Controlpanel/System then click advanced sys on top left. Find in the Advanced tab, Environment Settings. Go in there and change the temp directories to somewhere like D:/windows/Temp instead of C:/windows/Temp.

That might fix your problem.

Latest update abou the keys (not too surprising really)...

"Due to the overwhelming success of the Age of Empires III sale, we have temporarily run out of keys to unlock the game. You can still buy the game at this amazing price and you will get/see a key in the next week. When new keys are added to the system you will be auto-assigned a key, there is no need to call support or take any other action from your end. We will post here on the forums when the keys are available and the next time you click 'View Game Keys' for the game you should be assigned one.

Thank you for your patience and we hope you enjoy the game."

Damn... if I try to buy on the GFWL marketplace, I just keep getting the message "The price of one or more items in your cart has changed since it was added." Even though if I refresh the product page it's still 10p.

If I open the GFWL marketplace client software, it goes back up to £27.99 when I log in.

So this is a nice price, but compared to Steam (and even Impulse for that matter), GFWL really, really is an unwieldly, unfriendly ******! :(

Been playing it and I'm really disappointed with it. It seems to lack the depth of AoE2 and now has cards? And levels? And the buildings are kinda odd. Especially with the research and all.

Shame. I suppose it was only 10p. But still. :(

theres a reason its 10p :P I doubt you will find AOE2 for 10p.

Giving it a try anyways when my Key finally appears.

I've not really played it managed to install it then had to get a flight to London will play later, funnily enough had AOE 2 on my netbook and not played it, I loved the first one though, might pick that up cheap.

Finally got rid of the "could not log you out" loop (had to use IE in the end), went to xbox.com, ticked the box, waited, refreshed, now it wants credit card details? wtf, no paypal?
