Talking to mates on email about a night out they had on Saturday, where I left at 10pm because I've been ill and they went off to a club and got heavily drunk.
It wasn't anything much by the sounds of it, just people getting stroppy - no physical violence - but they were drinking Stella and it was always seems to live up to it's reputation in the UK of being 'wifebeater'.
What's people thoughts on this? Does it really bring out the worst in people, or is it just another strong lager that people wrongly-blame for making people aggressive? Or is it that it's a drink of choice by people that are more inclined to get violent, i.e. scum?
Some pubs in Brighton appear to have banned it as the landlord's see it as being an angry drink:
