So what car is everyone going to try and get in the beginning? I'm going for an MX-5 or maybe a cheap R32 if I can find one.

Hopefully an aw11 mr2 straight off the bat, really won't be able to tell until we get the game and see the prices of the cars!

Lol... Neither, luckily for me where I live people get sent a way all over the world for months on end and some even trust me with their keys...

Still considering buying a PS3 just for this. Very dissapointed as a BMW fan there is no E39 M5, no regular E92's and the only 3 Series is the ugly 5 year old original E90 when in the Vauxhall section there is a 1.4 Corsa Comfort and the game features every dull S series Audi ever made but I'll get over it.

This game has to be up there with most sold, least adverstising spent on it. Haven't seen a single gt5 advert anywere. Anyone think its going to break any 1st week records, considering its on only 1 console?

I got mine on March 2007, launch day for GT5 and paid £430
Finally, its about to arrive! (Tomorrow all being well!)

up to an hour. Walk off and make a cuppa and a sandwich. Its worth doing a full install, remember to dump the content when you put the PS3 back where you found it.. lol
Its will be eventually nearly 10GB of hd space used. I think the owner of the Ps3 might notice 10GB of space gone.

They know i have it.. I said they can keep the game once i,m bored with it and realise Forza is better...
Call of Duty black ops will take some beating. As will Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It'll perhaps beat single platform sales, such as Halo etc....
Considering how many own a PS3 and Blackops was released on PC, 360, PS3 and Wii then it'll be hard to beat something like Black ops.
