Got my copy from HMV (trade in offer). I got a card with some codes for Stealth cars. In a nutshell what do these do, what modes can they be used in and do they need to be unlocked in game etc.

will have to study it a bit more then , as i tryed it for a bit last night and i had like 4 options for the driver to overtake ,increase speed ....
Me too. I've been playing 1080p so if forcing 720p fixes this then that'll do me.

Only worth doing if you dont mind watching cars drive around lol.
That's it, not being able to restart championship races just isn't fun. One mistake and that's it. It's a close race as it is. People don't wanna come 3rd or 2nd or below, they want to win or there's no point. Infuriating. Just ruined the game for me.
Not to mention the MX-5s. They have a premium Mk1, then many other standard Mk1s. THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME IN REAL LIFE! The main difference is just the damn colour and maybe wheels. So only one model needed. Retarded, utterly retarded.

Screen tearing is strange, some people suffer a lot and others notice nothing.
I remember B-spec being cheating, you start the endurance race in B-Spec with the best car allowed and could just walk away and let the A.I. go alone and win by a big margin, is it more difficult now?

Even in car view.
I might check 1080 later but I believe that with the extra AA; 720 might look better overall.

i got the signature edition just now and it feels HEAVY
True, I notice it all the time. Wipeout HD another PS3 1080p racing title had lots of screen tearing, but not many noticed it. Its not that obvious in Wipeout HD but I noticed it the minute I started the first race in Wipeout Fury.
GT5 has a bucket load of screen tearing when racing around in london. Its maybe nothing to some but to me I see it as clear as day..!!
Shame, London is such an awesome track. I doubt dropping to 720p will fix it, its due to v sync not being enabled. v sync on can mean lag in controls and fps dropping from 60 - 30 etc....
Sadly, 1080p racing on a PS3 means we'll have to put up with something, but forza 3 on the 360 was very smooth and no teariing at 720, so why not GT5?
Was a cool feat in grid. Not a fan of it now. Ended up playing those game under the hardest difficulty.
