anyone ever tried myprotein liquid egg whites?

if so how long did it take for you to get through 1 bottle?

does it work out to be cost effective or not?

If its simply eggwhites in a carton which i expect then its more convenience tha anything else.

How long it lasts depends how much you use it, I was having around 8eggs per day so a carton being around 32 would last 3-4 days normally.

yep convenience is top order

how many times a day and how were u eating it?

I'm thinking early morning with my oats - so it'd be once a day or I could have it evening scrambled or omlette.

I eat over 16 a week and my cholesterol levels are way low. :) Don't believe the hype ;)

I can understand the convenience of egg whites, but eating them raw whilst the best way of getting the protein out of it, isn't the be all end all of it. :)

wow le gym monster rat for sure :) I will be eating 12-16 a week

eating them raw is what? is that what you do?

is it safe to do though?

I agree.

I'm not so sure about eating them raw - the advice is contradictory

I'm only going for 2 each morning so I'm sure 2 yolks a day 6 days a week should be okay.

As the MP liquid egg whites are pasturised you dont have to worry about the normal problems with raw eggs like salmonella or the lower protein bio avalibility due to the avidin content

I eat 28 a week  4 scrambled for breakfast every morning. Have done for the past 2 years :\ no idea on my cholesterol could get it checked. Blood pressure is fine. Different types of cholestrol anywhooo.

woahhh

timing and convenience

would rather eat raw hence the mp stuff

Takes me 5 minutes to scrambled 4 eggs. Wack them in a jug, milk, pepper and a little bit of lemon. Job done.

Go for the egg whites but be ware you're missing out on other EFA's, vitamins and minerals.

If it works out as the same price or less than however many eggs you'd get through than goo for it. If it's more expensive I'd go for eggs personally.

Scrambling eggs is no more time consuming that making toast or cereal imo.

thanks wack them in a jug?

what do u mean?
don't u put them in a pan? - is this your breakkie every day? what about oats?

You can crack the eggs, lob them in a jug, whisk them for a few secs and throw them in the microwave or something, only takes a minute or so.

Scrambling eggs in the microwave takes 4 minutes. What I do is crack 6 eggs, whisk them, put in the microwave for 2 minutes. Take out, whisk again, 2 minutes more, done. By which point your toast is done.

The only reason to get the frying pan out is for bacon, which I do after rowing at the weekends :).

No I don't eat them raw, I have done, but there's no point really. :)

Eggs are a great food. However variation is key and important too. :)
