no thats what it looks like yes, like i said before even many of the premium models have bad texturing to them and of course the trademark GT5 jaggy shadows!

no not really, but it is distracting. i think the poor shadows really spoil things and would have made the game more pleasing to the eye if they had just smoothed them out or made them less aggressive. i dont know if this is something they can correct with a patch - id expect not.

i think to call a car premium and then to dump horrible textures on it is a bit bad though, its bad enough the 800 standard cars look pretty **** without adding more insult to injury.

as iv said before the game stinks of lazy, arrogant development and everywhere you look just eeks of an unfinished product.

is it still worth playing? of course it is, but only a true fanboy can overlook the inexcusably basic flaws especially when there is such big competition in this genre now.

PMSL at my B-Spec driver in my tuned Eunos. Drifting most of the lap lmao. I keep having to use decrease pace but he's just too crazy around other cars! :D
 
Quick question about the licenses: Is it necessary to get them all gold, or will bronze suffice if you just want to get them done to progress quickly?

If shodows and (in your opinion) bad textures class this game as a failure then WOW.

Although I would love to sit down with team PD and ask why the game had been delayed so many times..... What was missing a year or so ago that is present now?

Makes you think.... what their initial plans were.... to release 1000 plus upscaled cars.... Honestly the thought is scary. Its almost as if the 800 standard cars were an afterthought..... Did they play to release the game with only 200 or so cars?

That is what really ****es me off with the newest installment. Does put me off hugely no.... but i still find it a little dissapointing.

I expect some DLC in the near future!

You get better cars with all golds, internet respect and learn how to drive like a racing driver a bit more.... :cool:

LOL :D made me chuckle to myself

I'm wondering what the hell it can be, maybe we couldn't get it all on the disc and here is the other 50Gb of data, or all the ported cars will become premium DLC cars over time

But seriously in this day and age and the fact new consoles can patch games i expect PD to fix any problem that have been found, add options etc etc

i mean when GT4 was released it was a case of here you go thats the final product now days it's a totally different ball game this game could be reviewed today and given 9 out of 10 then reviewed again after a patch and be given 10 out of 10.

Anyway i have my copy sitting in front of me and still not put it in yet got some other stuff to do and thinking maybe i can enjoy it more tonight when everyone is in bed and i can get a real feel for the game.

So if i get all silver and bronze i wont be able to buy as good cars as if i got gold? If that's the case then i'll take the time to get gold

I was wondering would everyone be moaning if they did release the game with 200 high res cars and no one even knew about the other 800 i think people would have been pretty impressed with 200 high res cars the fact the other 800 were shoe horned in ***** people off
