okay i know im asking a weird question but if i have to trawl through the net to find an answer i think i may go mad. i have an AX78 Abit mobo and i think i want an SSD to make reinstalling windows faster. i assume that it will work fine?

if so what 60/64gb drive is the one to go for if any in particular?

thanks in advance o wise and benevolent commentators

SSD hava sata 2 or sata 3 interface.. so the one you get will depend on what is on your board... I have sata 2 only, so went for the OCZ Vertex 2e 60gb @ £89 elswhere... If you have Sata 3, some say the Crucial C300 as it has faster read speeds, but slower writes, but as you are likely to read more than write... it is more beneficial.

Although I do quesiton your need for an SSD if its simply to install windows faster..lol

well i reinstall windows quite a lot, pretty much everytime it breaks or starts to annoy me i wipe and reinstall. like just now im having gpu issues http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=17860498#post17860498 and i want to try a clean install just to be sure its not windows being crap but def a hardware issue
