Anyways, back to the cricket, can't wait for the toss - what is the thought then? Bat first? What's the weather, forecast, pitch like?

Predictions for the day?

I love cricket, the only sport where the players have a toss and there is a break for tea!
 
It really is an awesome game - I only got into it after the 2005 series. I regret never playing it at school.

I think there is a bit of cloud so probably a good toss to lose but I really hope England have a bowl. I am always nervous when they bat.
 
Beforehand it was the weedy ex public school toffs* who were into it and they failed miserably. I mean come on, Michael Atherton? Now that they won it in 2005, and Flintoff was the loudest/front page photo it suddenly got more people interested.

*As said above, Sky's promo video really says it all. :p
 
Eeep. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stay awake for, but I hope to see a bit of the start. At least we won't bowl a wide with the first ball this time. :o
 
Just signed up for Sky Player here and settling down for the night.
I live in a block of flats without a satellite dish, so figured doing it this way and streaming it was easier than traipsing across to my mates place in north London who is also planning on staying up to watch the cricket.

I'm fortunate enough to be freelancing from home until the new year, so can work to my own schedule.
I reckon that schedule may turn almost nocturnal for a while!
