It's snowing

But you've got all that hair to keep you warm :D

True, and the fact I'm particularly thermogenic at the moment

Shh...Its not warm

Then again I'm sat in an air conned room all day 'incase the server overheat' =/

I love the heat, normally unless it's 25C+ I'm not happy. But I love it when it's crisp and cold but not raining. Ok I wear a top, but I'm shorts often! :o

I'm half hoping it doesn't snow down here.
If it does my mother gets stuck inside the house (she's on crutches/electric scooter).
When she's stuck inside she gets cabin fever after about a day.
When she gets cabin fever she drives everyone nuts.

We've taken the precaution of buying 3 bags of salt so if it's anything like last year we can at least make sure the path is fully gritted/salted for a while (hint B&Q have the bags at £6 each, compared to £12 at Hombase, I think snow shovels have a similar discrepancy in price)

where do you workWes?

Solberge Hall, Newby Wiske

The journey in this AM wasn't that bad actually, the main roads were clear, well the left lane anyway, only drama was when i was approaching what i thought was a truck quicker than i thought and it turned out to be a tractor with a trailer on the A19, i had to go in the snowy lane and overtake it rather quickly lol. Seen a couple of accidents including a focus upside down in a hedge on the A684.

Tbh, i'm more concerned about tomorrows journey into work at 8.30-9am. temps of -4 will freeze the slush, with a fresh layer of snow on top. It's snowing heavily on and off atm and the roads are already quite bad :(

Other than that, i love snow :D

Im worried about ice tbh! Lass I know slipped over last year and broke her arm so im thinking about getting some ice gripper things that go on shoes.

My missus and I will be ok but I need to find some for my kids.

BUT I still love snow and its an exscuse to get the sledge out lol :D

It tried snowing here (Guildford) at around 2:45pm. I saw a few ********** (nothing significant - barely noticed them, actually), but it stopped within a couple of minutes. Here's hoping we get some decent snowfall over the weekend.
