Bit disappointed, wasn't expecting much, but at least £100 off a fully specced iMac.

Not sure £81 is enough to open my wallet for...

Yeah they have reduced the price for it here although it's reduced in the UK now so is 394GBP for black friday so not massive differences.

Maybe a sign of the new iPad on the way as most of the stuff isnt discounted that much but the iPad has been discounted heavily in comparison!

EDIT: I'm sure the more expensive Macbook Airs used to have 4GB RAM? Am I going crazy? They all show as having 2GB now! http://store.apple.com/nz/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_air

To be honest I was expecting a slightly bigger discount. Tempted to get a ipad 16gb. But I really wanted to get a macbook pro. I think I am just going to hold off and hope that next year somepoint in Q1 that they release a new build of Macbook pros and get that instead.

The new MBPs havent been out long mate (2010 i5/i7 models with 330m gcards)

Unlikely that they will refresh so soon
 
aye but with the new SB cpu coming out (hopefully) next Q1 I would hope maybe they update it to include it.

Dunno maybe I am just wishful thinking :p

I think I'm going to pop into the apple store today and well have a look about. See if I I get tempted enough to crack out my debit card :)

Ha maybe :P I'm currently deciding if I should get the debit card out for an iMac 27inch lol. Gonna be a pricey day
 
The discounts have historically, always been $100 in the US. I expected the current savings.

Suppose this + 17.5% VAT is better than normal pricing + 20% VAT ;)
