Oh Lord....
Am I the only one who thinks that games should not be turned into movies (or visa versa)?
They just end up being so rubbish!
That's usually covered by the 'based on the game' tag that comes with these kind of crappy films. Also, why is there a father and uncle? There's no father and uncle in the game!
David Russell said:Right now, the script is being composed from scratch. Word is the actual video game didn't have much there aside from a concept and a name.
I lost hope for this film earlier in the year when I read the following quote:

He's clearly not even bothering to even play the game, it's obviously beneath him to properly research someone else's IP.

Naughty Dog told PlayStation University how close they really are with the development of the movie and that they have trust with all who are working on it.
The guy (Nathan Fillion) that you're all crying about is pretty much a one trick pony in my opinion
I doubt many people have heard of this Nathan Fillion person (I had to IMDB him). I guess he is well known on a forum such as this due to being in this cult/sci-fi show called Firefly/Serenity.

Some games could make the jump. Uncharted was one of them, but then they chose Wahlberg who I don't see pulling off Drake. Also, why is there a father and uncle? There's no father and uncle in the game!
Most never do though..... I struggle to think of one movie (based on a game) that made it big.
Hmmm Was Tomb Raider any good?
