The Ashes 2010-11: Australia v England ** spoilers **

From watching the highlights it seems like they just fed Hussey so much short stuff. It seems that despite all the talk they never seem to just concentrate on pitching the thing up. The occasional bouncer fine, but why just feed them rubbish. Very frustrating to watch!

Especially after Siddle's performance.

For a long time, I reckoned that England didn't stand a chance against Australia in the ashes. But after the Aus V India tests, and England's performances in the warmup matches, I reckoned they had a chance. But after these 2 days of cricket, I'm not sure what's going to happen. My opinion of Bell has also changed, I thought he sucked, but now I realised he's actually decent :p

Just under 2hours to the start. Huge huge session for England . Weekend so m going to try pull a all nighter!anyone who's on twitter follow freddy on funny tweets

Looking forward to this! Rather tired though after a lack of sleep the last 2 days..

Try my patented "test the water" method - gradually increase your viewing time as the test goes on. That way, if England are out of it by the third day you haven't wasted your time, and if they're still in it you have the energy to sit up and watch the conclusion. :D

I fell asleep almost as soon as I got home tonight, woke up about an hour ago, and now I'm wide awake \o/. Shame I've missed any chance to go out. Ah well.

Tonight's play should be excellent. Can't wait.

Big cracks appearing on the pitch apparently can only be good news for England:D
Until we have to bat!

EDIT: It's on already! Thought I had half an hour. COME ON ENGLAND, SKITTLE EM!

Thought that second one was surely out, good call by the umpire. Putting them under a bit of pressure, hopefully a wicket is imminent.

Edit - sweet, El Classico's on this Monday :D

Their batting last;)

Now that I've just seen Jimmy Anderson's action on slow motion replay, look again at the real stuff in the next over - anybody else think it's slightly suspect?

What the **** is that...

Edit - another misfield. For all the years I've watched test cricket, our fielding is usually littered with mistakes. This kind of thing doesn't please bowlers and adds to the opposition total.

Woooohoooo go Hussey

Go aussies time to teach these Poms a lesson :D

Get out!

I said to my bro before the series started that Hussey and Haddin (+ North) will probably be the ones that struggle the most. How wrong was that.

Swann really needs to up his game. He was hyped up to be bowler of the series.

Who is this man, and what has he done with Peter Siddle?

Come on Hussey, get in there my son! :D (Fingers crossed for Haddin's century...)

I predict aussies out for around 280-290 and a steady end to the day by our openers

And how's that working out for you?

:)
