I don't suppose Kaz gives a frying fluk. Spent 4 years driving all the greatest cars in the world, then a year on pics and vids, then a year on the game.
Kicking back now on his bamboo lounger, suppin sakke dreaming up how good GT6 is going to be.

I'm loving most of this game but parts of it want to make me throw it out the window.:(
 
Just Wasted a load of money on a whim. A suzuki gsx-r concept car with the engine from a hayabusa bike just popped up in used cars for about £125k, bought it then spent about £75k tuning it.......and it's PANTS!!!!!!

I just completely wasted £200k :(

Edit: does anyone know the best way to rack up cash quickly? At the minute I'm doing the first race of the british lightweight event over and over. I can do it in about 3 minutes and get 24k each time

First race in Turbo event on Pro (36k in around 3 minutes depending on your car) or the first race on the Quick as Wind event on extreme (70k in about 5 minutes).

If you're not that far, then I haven't a clue. :p
 
I've got gold on all races on the first 2 levels (beginner & amateur?), just about halfway through the pro races

Edit: I think that turbo race is on the expert level

Do the Supercar Festival one with the Daytona track, 15k a pop iirc for 3 mins.

Is that the little convertible? I loved that on GT3/4 Concept/Tokyo :D

Just seen the Renault 5 Turbo Rally car and the Nomad Diablo pop up on used, and I'm no way near being able to afford them :(
 
Not liking all the little specific events, but I love how I can use my MP4-12C on the British Lightweight Cup ;) - such a beast of a car, can't even use full throttle all the time!
 
Just had my rage momment, was winning a race quite comfortably but ended up crashing and getting stuck. Cue me going down through the gears to find no reverse. by the time i found out it was triangle i was already lapped. To top it all off i was 3 races into a championship:mad::(

On a related note does anyone know if it autosaves halfway through a championship?

Yeah, I got gold for the Monza Ferrari Challenge during the world tour, it paid out a huge 75K credit. Sadly only once. I've now amassed over 500K in funds. And got a 650bhp racing spec R35 GTr which is pretty much whooping ass in most events it can enter... Went for the 07 spec which was a heck of a lot cheaper then the other specs and tuned it myself... Once I fitted racing slicks, whoo... Man that bady handles superb, and does the ring in well under 7 minutes - even with my dodgy driving at times.

go karts paid out quite a bit in funds as well... As do the AMG events.

Pays out 17,300 for just basically going round in a circle with your foot on the floor. Takes all of about 2 minutes 20 in a decent car.

:D I won the vspec version which is either 09 or 2010, tuned it fully giving it every available part including the aerodynamic parts, it's a BEAST. :D

Me and Gman were just having a little blast on the high speed ring, managed to get it down to 1:00.382 which is faster than his tuned Veyron. :p

Edit: Just did a lap of the HSR in 59.613 :D
