Yeah, the only thing I can find to do with brakes is in tuning to do with front/rear bias.

The oil change BHP increase is bizarre, just did one on a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 that has done all of 24.2 miles and it went from 698 to 732BHP! lol

Not that I'm moaning or anything, more POWER is always good. :D
 
Gran turismo all stars championship. Not even a tuned 1150bhp veyron can keep with the GT cars. I had one in my slipstream and he breezed past. Can someone please help?
 
C60 Hybride - Judd race car '05. If it passes you even when you're in a veyron. Wave goodbye. Passed me with two laps to go and pulled out a 20 second lead. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
 
So how did they do the damage with this game? :)

And what is the Standard and Premium Car list? Is there 2 versions of this game or are the Premium Cars the cars which you need to win?:confused:

Did you find a volume option in the end? I've setup my own playlist to play but the levels of my tracks must be quite low as the sound fx drowns it out, so instead of buggering about with the levels of 100 tracks I thought i'd just up the game music volume, but I can't find the option anywhere. Anyone noticed such a thing?
 
Hey guys.. So the game is good but not fantastic hey? Im enjoying it very solid game but it does feel like its missing something.. The textures of the tracks are pretty rubbish at times! and some of the 3d modelling on the standard cars i could do in 20 mins :)

Thats the end of my rant, I just wanna know if anyone knows if there is manufacturer races in this game, When you get too a certain level maybe? Im 20 and not found it yet? ID be pretty sad if there isnt i always liked doing like a VW race or something..

Well if anyone knows let me know please :)
 
Still loving it, which I think I will do for a long time yet. My only real gripes are the "donk" noise when you hit another car, and my personal biggest let down:

NO REPLAY IN 2 PLAYER SPLIT SCREEN!!

Gutted.

Other than that, it's all good.

There are sound options in the main settings screen, the one where you can set up your controller etc. Just keep scrolling right for the sound section.
 
I seem to be really struggling holding power slides with a wheel. With a pad it's easy as pie but with a wheel i always over or under compensate and end up smacking into a wall which sucks.

As a side note, do we know if damage affects performance? I'd love it if it did.
 
Anyone else found that the final stage of the Loeb rally is pretty much impossible? I'm going through as fast as I can and cant get anywhere near the time, oh and just tapping some of the barriers gets you DQd. Running with any assist on at all is pointless too. /vent

Yeah I found that too. Got gold on the first 2 then Chamonix was a complete CF
 
can anyone tell me what the best race is to get a nice amount of credits ?

im nearly up to expert series is there any races in there that give good amounts?

Have any of you completed the grand tour special event? I found that the time trials were a lot harder than the races against the opponents. The Alfa 8C mountain time trial and the Focus rally car stage were hard, I still can't get gold on either of them. Overall, I'm loving this game. The handling of the cars is, from what I've driven so far, really good, and driving in rain and snow is brilliant fun.

I've just bought myself a McLaren MP4-12C and done some weight reductions and increased the bhp a bit, it's now an absolute monster!
 
When you guys buy new cars , which you plan to keep do you tune them to the max or just tune them slightly???

ive always wondered this as when ive had loads of money i just seem to tune them to the max ?

I tune them slightly (all exhaust + inlet stuff + stage 1 lightening) and see if I can win the required races with that.

If not I then add some sports soft tyres and stage 1 engine + ECU.

If I still get beaten I start doing more engine stuff, until it's competitive.

Pretty boring overtaking everything at the start line and then just trundling round.

i agree i must start doing this as its better to have the car perform like it would irl

You my man are a star! I looked everywhere else but there! I wondered where the PS3 Eye menu was too, so two birds with one stone! :)
 
First thing I do is whack racing soft tyres on so even if it is a bit psycho, it is easier to keep in line. If there's not enough power I take some weight off and increase the power by about 15-20%.

Been tuning my cars to the max so my silly b-spec driver can actually win something. It's embarrassing to see a Murcielago LP 640 maximum tuned being beaten by a stock Polo :o

Me and Gman were just having a little blast on the high speed ring, managed to get it down to 1:00.382 which is faster than his tuned Veyron. :p

You will not be winning the Gran Turismo All Stars championship in that Nissan trust me. I got slaughtered in my 855bhp GTR and they started slip streaming me in my Veyron. That Bentley Speed 8 is rapid.
