Buy it, max it, job done.

The Dodge Viper at 930+hp is great fun but I wish I was able to customise my fully customisable 6 speed 'box so that the Viper doesn't hit the rev limiter at 201 mph :confused:

Hopefully, this is one of the issues which will be unlocked as the game progresses or be fixed with a patch.

i cant select reverse using the paddle shift and i'm using a dfgt...bit stupid having to keep hold of triangle when you're spinning the wheel it's on.

Quite funny. :p

I'm almost level 20 and I've had the bumpers hanging off and such, but no mechanical damage or doors/boot lids/bonnets opening yet. If that happens with all premium cars and not just rally cars then that's something to look forward to as I rank up more. I also haven't even touched B-Spec mode yet.

Oh, another question I had, there's a classic car race in the Expert Events, the opposition have the 20,000,000 credit racing cars, how am I meant to compete with those, and has anyone done this race with a less expensive car yet?
 
So I decide to grind a race for some cash, and upon finishing, there's no option to restart the race on the results screen. Instead you have to exit to the menu and select the race and load it again...what the hell? They need to patch in a restart option quickly.

Annoying isn't it ? No handbrake, either, nor is it possible to map the buttons on the wheel.

I specifically asked a Logitech representative on the phone if the G27 was fully supported in GT5.
Yes, was the reply. I asked her how she was able to be so certain since the game had not been
released. Erm .. silence.

I decided to have a punt anyway and it's a decent wheel but I do hope that there's a patch
released sooner rather than later, if that's even possible ?

Was going to ask the same thing, I don't really want to waste money on em :p
 
That damage video is misleading, you don't need to be level 40 to unlock that damage. I think the damage on rally cars is more extreme then others, I've done the exact same visual damage to my rally car as that video at under level 20.

Ford GT 06 max tuned - they can't keep up with that ;-)

Any one know where the Sport trucks are to be found? I've gold completed Beginner and Pro events and can't do the same for the series inbetween - in GT 4 they were in the New Car section.

Either by winning one in an event or buy from the used car room. I can gift you mine if you still need it later..

I think that is done on purpose, but like you say it is annoying.

I couldn't find anything I needed in the 2nd hand section for ages and then everything I needed: Truck, Classic Muscle, Jap Classic came along at once.

Just wondering what to get next, have 300k saved but most of the decent race spec cars are a load more. Spotted a M3 GTR in the 2nd hand but is it really worth 300k?
