***The Official Gran Turismo 5 Thread***

hm enjoying so far - i would say though, ive not spent that much time and yet i still have some like touring cars and some great spec motors..

where are the 4x4 championships? in beginners and the next one up? would be sweet...

i hate having to buy a 40k car for a race type that goes nowhere after you have completed the 2 races and won 15k back:/

However it does introduce a new level of pain watching your driver casually saunter his way around the track :p

Without the option to speed things up lol

When you give driver instructions to decrease pace, maintain pace, increase pace or overtake are those instructions permanent? Or does the driver gradually lose pace as he carries on.

I find it strange that a 'maintain pace' is required as surely this would be a given. Or is each instruction only temporary and last for a certain amount of time?

I can't work it out.

That's what I thought. Seems weird to stop you using it when it is shared online. I will have a look at the online options some more, when I get time.

Have you ever followed real motorsport? It is like this, Spend MUCHO ££ on a car etc and get very little back. It ain't much of a business :p

I belive the maintain pace, increase pace and such are more about keeping them cool or aggressive, if thier bar is in the aggressive they will speed up but are more likely to make mistakes

Are you sure that is the exact event name? I don't see that under "Professional/Amateur/Beginner Series"
