Some great shots and very good answers!

A bit off topic, but since you guys seem to be up on your adventure games, have you got a favourite, if so what platform?

I love the Gabriel Knight series, the third one was a major disappointment, but the story was brilliant as usual, just the graphical style made it a bit of a chore to play.

1 & 2 kept me glued to the screen, so they are my favourite adventure game experiences. Wish they would do a jazz up like the Monkey Island games, but I highly doubt it.

PC platform(it wasn't released on any other)

hmmm this has me stumped, it must have been before my time! It is not a Spectrum game I don't think or else it would have had some silly blue colour or something.

I really have no idea :(

Yeah Grey Matter will have a great story as it is Jane Jenson! She is a genious in my opinion, hopefully the graphics,puzzle and interface team are better then the Gabriel Knight 3 ones, as this could be an absolute cracker! Can't wait :)

hmmm now it rings a bell actually, it might of been ported to another platform or had a sequel on another platform... amazon...
 
Yep tho i bet it was pure guess of the most well known one hehe. Yeah its Amazon and i played it on the atari st 520 or somit. Was in colour iirc too that image was best i could find of it tho.

wow... am i to young at 23 to know not know most of these games? i could guess the odd one but so many here ive never heard of. Parasite eve i thought was the easiest, loved the game and the second one, i remember it being banned and having my sister boyfriend getting me a copy. Remember it scaring the hell out of me when you bump into the first mutating rat, i was 12 and only just had a ps1 after living on a megadrive! lol

'Voyage: Inspired by Jules Verne' by Kheops games is one of my favourites, in fact all the kheops games are excellent. Zork games were great, particularly grand inquisitor and zork nemesis. These are all nodal point games, a bit like myst. I also love the sherlock holmes series that frogwares produced, they're excellent. :) All on PC. First adventure I ever played in 1995 was Discworld on the playstation, loved it with all it's obscure puzzles. :p
