Pelting cars with snow balls

 First of all why are you swerving over a snowball that will block your view partially and only for a split second? If you drive any sort of mileage at all you must end up in the ditch a hell of a lot.

so what, have you never flinched when you've been surprised?

some of the little **** around my town have a habbit of putting stones in their snowballs, though luckily for us it isnt snowing here at the moment :(

If they annoy you that much, either run them over, or do a drive by with a mac10.

Maybe you could run them over with the excuse that you couldnt see them due to the snowball that was thrown on your windscreen about 10 seconds earlier

And it's not too funny if you have a baby or children in the back of your car and the snowballs hit the side windows with a loud thud, scaring the life out of them or waking them up.

Last year the local chavs on one of the estates near here, decided to roll a massive snowball into the center of the road when one of the local buses approached (refusing to let it past) - they then tried to get on the bus, instead getting in through the back emergency exit, and proceeded to pelt everyone on board (including pensioners and mothers with kids) with dozens of snowballs. And every day last year there were loads of reports of drivers having windows smashed because of snowballs with stones/grit in them.

So yes - I would say it's getting a lot worse and was never as bad.

Be thankful it's just snowballs. In some of the chavvier areas they literally throw bricks at buses. And washing machines at police cars.

Yes, washing machines.

How do you throw a washing machine?

was it like off a bridge/raised walkway/balcony an dropped o nit or did they get together an lob it off level ground?

My cousin ended up in court for throwing snowballs at cars with his friends.

It was at least 16 years ago and the main reason it escalated to a court case after they were arrested was because one driver had stopped, got out and hit them.

When I was at school we had two campuses in different towns. To get to either campus, they'd ferry us over in buses. We would have to pass through a predominately nationalist area. It was good sport for them to hurl stuff at our bus as we were going through. On one occasion, someone lobbed a brick, it came through a window and hit one of our school mates in the face, subsequently he lost an eye.

I think sometime earlier this year a bus that had been going through the area was stopped, everyone ordered off and they set it on fire.

Yeah. Chucked off a balcony.

I was talking to a woman I met in a bar in Southampton. It turned out her job was a policewoman. So I mentioned it must be tough in some of the chavvier areas of the city. And she's like "Yeah, we can't park at Thornhill any more. We have to park a distance away. Because if we park anywhere near the tower blocks we get household appliances thrown at the cars".

And yeah, that included a washing machine.

Kids will throw snowballs at anything. We didn’t bother with cars we just threw them at people from a great height.

Kids will be kids, used to pelt some miserable gits house when I was a kid. Probably did throw a snowball at a car aswell, can't remember if I did or didn't though.

I know it's not right, but, if you can remember what it's like to be a kid, you do stupid stuff like this because "it's a laugh" and you don't really think of the consequences, because you're young and care free and your mates are doing it.

Some little **** threw a snowball at my van last year, I wouldn't have minded but he must've either compacted it loads or painted a brick white as it made a HUGE bang, luckily it didn't hit my window as I'm sure it would've gone through.

so the snow ball hits the windscreen totally startling the driver causing him to swerve and run over the young mum and her toddler...... what if it was your wife/sister/mother etc.

Why would you be driving fast enough in weather like this so you would lose control of your vehicle as a result of this any ways? Then again just look at all of those 'responsible' drivers out there complaining about the odd snowball who still drive with 4" of snow sat on their roof. Bet that never obstructs the view when you have to brake suddenly...

Had about 30 kids pelt the bejesus out of my car as me and a friend came out of the lanes onto open road which runs through a small valley. I had one muppet dump a massive chunk/boulder of snow on the windscreen which completely blinded my view not to mention sounded like it was about to come through the windscreen.

It's not very clever and I'll be doing my best to avoid and areas where it'll be a possibility. If I manage to catch any this year I'll be dragging them home to their parents and have any damages fixed at their expense.

Pelt the living daylights out of bus stops, walls, or each other but not moving cars.
