Super Meat Boy - Ultra-frustrating platformer out late today

This game is looking pretty awesome. It's made by the guys that made the original Meat Boy. Think of it as a bit like N+ in terms of it being a puzzle platformer, but with added disturbingness :p


Anyone else picking it up? I've been waiting for this for aaaages.

Had this a few weeks now on my 360, it's a brilliant game. Gets very challenging very fast but there is a great sense of achievement when you complete a level you have been repeatedly trying over and over.

Yeah..I've been very envious of people with 360s for that very reason. Damn mine for breaking :/

But dunno if it will be a good port as this is out for the 360 is it not?

From what I've read on the Team Meat blog I reckon it will be. You'll of course need a joypad to be able to truly enjoy it, but it looks like something that would translate well from console > PC.

Good choice :p No idea re the score board though I hear a lot of community features are being worked on for the steam/pc version.

You may want to try a ps3 pad instead. I'm not sure exactly how the controls will work (I'm sure you've got a better idea than me due to your xbox360 experience in fact) but normally the ps3's dpad is better than the xbox360's for things like this.
 
I've just noticed that the store page doesn't load for it any more - just redirects to the homepage.

I'll try a steam restart too. The SMB website claims that it's already out :s
