I've narrowed it down to HTC Sense on the phone not syncing to the HTC Sense website, as on the website it doesn't show missed calls or people information either

I've just reinstalled locations on the phone (there is a reinstall button), deleted and readded the HTC Sense account on the phone (used same email address as before), synced HTC Sense but still not working, all options are enabled on the phone too :(

WOOT! I have now resolved the phone location and HTC Sense website issue

After doing the above - 10 mins later I realised HTC Sense contacts had synced :eek:

Looked on the webpage and sure enough people and missed calls information was showing but still the phone location said not enabled :(

I then unticked phone finder on the phone, did a sync all, re-ticked phone finder and synced all - it then showed my phone location on the equator off Africa (0, 0 co-ordinates)

Hit the refresh location link and badda bing badda boom boom pow all working :D

Think the issue is caused by creating a HTC Sense account and then shortly after updating the OTA which messes all sync to the website so above procedure reinitialises the setup.

Yes and after hanging up I've now looked up the tracking number on the Royal Mail website and it says 'no data currently available for this tracking reference'

....hopefully it's just not registered yet or something along those lines...

Heads up to anyone with outstanding T-mobile orders: a friend of mine placed an order this morning and had it shipped straight away. Mine had been on order for two weeks so I rang them this evening and found that it was shipped yesterday evening. They've just had a load in so if yours hasn't been shipped yet chase them!

Is that the same HTC S550 case which has pull-out tab or not? If not then is the phone easy to get out of the case?

I made the mistake of ordering the S510 case off ebay even though the seller claimed it was compatiable with the DHD and further investigation revealed that it infact isn't. Amazon wrongly claim as well that this S510 is compatiable with the DHD, so just beware.

The one I linked is the official one for the DHD, direct from HTC. It has a pull thing and is very decent quality :)

Same here, I rang them and 30 minutes prior to my call the lady told me a couple hundred came into stock. Great timing :D
 
Aww man it's snowing and I'm expecting my HTC DHD tomorrow, hope it doesn't affect the delivery! :( Why couldn't it have snowed on thursday!
 
Yay, fixed HTC Sense now.

If you're having problems this is what I did:

- Reinstalled Locations app
- Removed and re-added my HTC Sense sync account (same user details)
- Sync all
- Untick Phone Finder in Locations and sync all
- Tick the above and sync all again

Wait until the sync has finished every single time just in case. Works perfectly now :).
 
Doing that has got it part working.

The dashboard shows missed calls, but not location or messages.

I'll have another go at it later

Try pressing refresh location on the HTC Sense page.

Also, have you had any recent messages? Unlike how I thought, it doesn't upload every single message on your phone. Instead it seems to upload only recent ones - for me it shows all 4 messages I've sent/received today, and then 2 from months ago when I first got the phone. It must be designed to upload them as you send them (and so if it's broken it just won't), rather than backing up fully.

Just rang up spoke to a very helpful bloke and all I said to him was that I was on 1Gb allowance and not 3Gb with my DHD. He checked it and changed it and then said well there is also some great news for you as well, you can change your booster now. So I asked for unlimited texts and it's all been done, got a text right away confirming the unlimited text booster.


T-mobile win!!! :D :cool:
 
What memory card have people been getting supplied with their phones? The one I got today came with a class 4 Sandisk, I'm sure earlier batches had a class 2 Samsung?
