How much would you spend on...

The questions are so vague that the answers will make useless presentation data, you need to create a proper questionnaire

£80 on books?

Really?

I don't think that means all he does on holiday is read. Perhaps they were guide books? Between us my girlfriend and I spent almost 40 quid on books before we went - and the only reading done on holiday was her in the passenger seat of the car!

I assume you don't actually do anything on holiday other than read then?

You obviously don’t read very much. I can easily read 6-8 books in three weeks and even more. A few hours a day by the pool or the sea and sometimes before sleep. We have tons of time to do plenty of other things.

Surely it depends on where you're going and what you're doing? E.g. a skiing trip costs a lot more to prepare for than a trip to Dublin for the weekend.

I take quite a few holidays and while I spend money on them I don't really make any specific purchases before going

Before our honeymoon I spent

Clothes - £200ish
Music - none
Books - £20
Toiletries (including sun tan lotion) - £40
Medicine - £10
Camera - £150

Oh and female, although that most of what was spent was for both of us

Went to Croatia for a week in August, spent:

£40 on 2 pairs of board shorts
~£10 on suncream
~£10 on some flipflops
£40 on tickets for a festival we were going to

Oh and £1.20 on a can of redbull because our flight was at stupid AM =P

So I guess about £101.20 XD

I'm male
