Hi all

Basically im at a crossroads now with my diet, my strength is increasing weekly and lbs are dropping off.

The main reason I came onto the diet however was to lose my fat from all over, its very noticable in most of my body.

Ive gone from 18.9st down to 15.5st

Still losing around 2-3 lbs weekly aswell.

Im thinking of really pushing it now in the fat burning and am wondering if i should start doing ( i want to get rid of my belly and lower back fat *handles* ) i know you cant spot reduce.

I love swimming so am sessions are always that
Dont mind trying cross trainers though

6xweekly fasted AM cardio sessions - Steady State ( Breastroke Swimming )
4xweekly fasted AM cardio sessions + Two HIIT training sessions on the evening for days 5 and 6
6x HIIT training sessions - AM OR Post Workout?

If you're going for fat loss then stick with the 1st option :)
But to be honest any option will work as long as you are eating correctly.

Why one Clipsey?

Morba, the reason I want to change things is up is I know that in steady state the body gets used to it and metabolism falls rapidly after.

1 I love swimming, it's non-impact and a great way to exercise :D
2 As it is fasted am swimming you will be diving straight into your fat reserves for energy.
3 It is aerobic exercise, which for you and your goals is what you want to be focusing on for now :)

Thanks for the responses, just realised im basically following a keto cycle during the week and my cheat meal on the weekend is re balancing my carbs, so im happy with that.

Whats your typical daily diet if you dont mind me asking?

Breakfast : 4 eggs scrambled ~ wholemeal pitta ( mixed herbs, paprika, chilli flakes )
Snack : Longley Cottage Cheese 250g and tablespoon of blueberry jam
Lunch : Tuna with half spoon mayo, some more herbs and handful of mixed nuts + wholemeal pitta
Dinner : 4 eggs scrambled again 2x breaded ham or westins gourmet chicken breasts with brocolli/peas/

Night Snack : Spoon of wholenut peanut butter and some mixed nuts/goji berries

Might have a banana during the day aswell. Works out about 120g fats 80g carbs and 160 protein. Depending if i fancy more meat.

Got a PWO shake in there too just impact whey and water

Between 6-8 most days why?
Some days Ill have chicken or lean mince though but almost always have eggs for breakfast.

Lots of eggs are fine.

Personally I'd only do 3-4 sessions of HIIT per week with maybe 2 or 3 fasted steady state AM cardio sessions.

Though if what you're doing is working then there's no need to change it really.

If you want to increase your loss then tightening up on your diet by dropping your calories slightly is the other option.

Im already around 500 out per day in food intake alone, plus my cardio and weight sessions, ill try the HIIT on off days after carbing up at weekends.

You're in a 500 calorie defecit from your MBR with diet alone? Plus have an additional increase in the defecit from any exercise (cardio/resistance work)?

Might find being the best part of 700-1000 calories under your MBR has a detrimental effect as it's too little. The norm is to eat your maintenance calorie intake and then let your energy expendature create the defecit. Or eat very slightly under your MBR. 500 calories less is a fair bit.

Though as I say if its working... though if it stops this may be the cause.

Personally i think to have lost over 3 stone, and to still be losing 2-3lbs a week is fantastic. What would you imagine your target weight would be?
