Does anyone else hate the Madrid track with a passion?? So far its been the only track that just does not race like a real race track (in my view) and feels like they jammed in a chicane at the end of the lap just to fill out some required corner thing....

On the plus I got a Jefferson Interceptor with 350bhp that's destroyed all the classic car series...

I'm gunna say Cobra, but I've not tried it, so don't quote me on it, other than that I still think you should be able to win on Monaco and if you get lucky Deep Forest :)

Ok, got to Ver.2 of my DIY racing wheel stand, gonna do more work on it next week, but perfectly usable already.

Version 2:
Repositioning the board makes it much stiffer, and the pedals sit on the floor, not worth trying to put them on a platform.

2x £1 planks from IKEA's salvage bin, and £3 worth of brackets :)

Grrrrrrrr, I've gone to the god dam 2nd hand car dealership about 50 times now to only find nothing I need.

I've nearly completed expert but amateur I need a god dam pickup truck.

Otherwise, progressing slowly... other things need to be done unfortunately :(
 
Wouldn't of thought so, however don't worry about it, just realised you are not a high enough level to have attempted the classic race I was on about. So unlikely the Jensen will be any good. Thanks anyways though.

I'll keep an eye out for one, but I'm sure someone will lend you one. I lost one sending it to a friend, then found another pretty much right after in the 2nd hand, but a friend has at atm.

Ah no worries, would have been good to find out if it tuned would do some of the later races, I assume its the type of thing to fix it self tomorrow....

Yeah, strangely you are in my list ingame, just had to scroll down a bit. But might sort itself after the game restarts or something.
 
I got my copy today. I played a number of tracks on arcade...and found it pretty boring. I'm thinking about returning it, but have decided to give it another shot. Sure it's pretty to look at but the sound track is awful and the presentation is a bit too retro (how do I find out the controller layout??). All the bits I didn't like from GT4 are still there!
I will make an effort though. So, dumb-sounding question: how should I play through this in order to have a good time?

For anyone else looking for a DTM car, you can buy a Lexus IS-F concept in the New Dealership that you can use (Check the exact model first) but only if you have 750,000 :o
