Interesting article in the Guardian asking people what they think is the most important question science needs to answer.

I am in agreement with many of then, especially Prof Brian Cox when he speaks about the need for everyone to approach things with a scientific rationale.

What do you think is the most important question Science should answer, it need not be from the article.

What is God? would be on my list, along with Why am I me and not you?

What is it exactly about a regular sized lesbian lady doing a midget lesbian lady that does it for me? Even though their little michelin man limbs physically disgust me.

heres my input on your questions
WHAT IS GOD? god is a construct of the human mind to to create reason and logic to an unfathomable universe. the human mind simply isnt capable of comprehending the universe which is almost entirely out of any humans control the thought of a grand being in charge of it all makes it all a less scary experience. think of it as a bus driving down the road and god as the driver no god/driver = terrified passangers.

WHY AM I ME AND NOT YOU? blind luck + i would always be me and you would always be you even if we were born in the other body we would just look different ;)

the single most important and fundamental question that science needs to answer is just why? thats it, everything else pales in comparison :D

Why should science try to answer questions such as "what is God" and "what is the meaning of life"? One of these questions pre-supposes the existence of a God, so would be better replaced with "is there a God", and the second is not a scientific question. Science does not concern itself with why something happens, only how.

I've always wondered if 'why' and 'why not?' in the context of the universe, mean the same.

Does the postman delivery letter post, when snowing?

This should be priority one.

Given that God is infinite, and that the universe is also infinite... would you like a toasted teacake?
