Depends on whether you can jump normally and attain the terminal velocity of a plane. If you can't, which I suspect you can't, then no. Jumping would take a tiny fraction of the speed away, and that's assuming you weren't freefalling inside the plane anyway and even had your feet on some part of it.

Can someone explain adequately the meaning of infinite space?

my idea is that space is infinite to the observer. so for example, the universe is expanding at way faster then the speed of light so its impossible for us to reach the edge as we cant travel faster then the speed of light. So wherever life is born in the universe, that is the centre as everywhere else is expanding away from that life form and it would be impossible for it to reach the edge.
