I can't seem to login since the upgrade about 15 mins back. I keep getting 'unable to login, please try again' messages, any ideas?

Harvest Day is a class map, but like all BF games, if you play with noobs it sucks. Had a really good couple of matches on that map last night and half a dozen rubbish ones. Whole team sniped despite being rubbish shots

Quick Q : Does the game run in Dx11 ?

I have tried setting it manually in the options, it loads up but changes from full screen to window every button press ...

setting it to Dx10 is fine..

Harvest Day Conquest is very tedious... its not that bad to start with then it just seems to take forever... and you've always got snipers at the sides of the map taking pot shots. Though wtf is with the UAV station? What the hell is the point in putting it in such a place you can be seen from half the map through a scope as a sitting duck?

I agree, the new maps are excellent. Going back to this I forgot how much better it is than Black Ops - it's much better in almost every way.

Ahh, thanks lecro, i always thought 24 was the max.

24 and below produces better gameplay imo and things appear to be better than a 32 player server.

yes about the uav station i was constaly picking people off on it then a tank found me lol

yeah new maps are good, enjoy them all to a degree. the new speckits are great as im on level 49 and need the points, gold gold stars on 3/4 and that gives you new sigs and pins which all add up to 35k and easy to get.

OK anyone had game drop outs since the new patch? i keep losing connection, however this could be weather related? happened 4 times yesterday over a 5 hours blast

After playing this game on xbox 360 for a long time then playing on pc there a few thing i like and don't like or need to change.

(1) I can now aim with the m1 and get kills easy lol

(2) 32 player maps = good chaos fun.

(3) I am not sure if its bloom/HDR but some maps look really bright and a lot more mist/smoke affects some times to hard to see what i am shooting at at long range

(4) With my rez at 1920x1080 + max setting dx 11 5870 card menus and when selecting weapons it looks like its using low rez then the rest of the game ? anyone else get that ?


(5) Field of view i can't seem to find right setting for 16.9 24" monitor @ 1920x1080

3. Turn down your brightness to either 45/50 and contrast 40/45.
5. Set your FoV value to 78, that will give you an actual horizontal view of 110'. This is recommended for your res/monitor size.
