Wasn't GTX580 on pre-order on the same site for £399 before release? Makes me wonder if GTX570 will be sold for £279 ish.
Not a bad price, though i wont be in a hurry to upgrade from my current sli gtx 470's.
With the current crop of games (99% at least) can't say I will be in any hurry to upgrade from my 460GTX either.
I loled at this. This will launch just under £300 & clean up as it offers GTX480 performanceSomeone just unboxed theirs!

Well, it's more like an alternative to GTX480...It will offer GTX480 performance for GTX480 price, woohoo!

GTX570=lower power consumption, lower temp, much quieter, BUT at the cost of lesser memory
But we'll have to wait and see how well the GTX570 overclock comparing to the GTX480. If their max speed both are about the same, then people that are going down the watercooling route would probably be better off with a GTX480 for the extra memory.
