I totally agree.
Indeed, they look like they've been tipped out of a box onto the plate.
I totally agree.
That accusation was levied at some of the pubs that operate under his brand, where they don't have the room on premises for a full kitchen. Or something like that.
If that were true of his proper restaurants, he wouldn't have any Michelin stars.
Very amusing that you took pictures of each course. And rather chavvy.
Still, I'd say Claridges was overrated and not his best restaurant. If you want a great dining experience, go to his flagship restaurant in Royal Hospital Road. I've been three times and it's the best dining experience I've had.
Why is it 'chavvy'? You sound like a bit of a snob. I take it you eat in Michelin star restaurants every evening or something? He was taking a picture of a rare experience.
It's inappropriate, it's called common courtesy, like not answering your phone in a restaurant and putting it on silent.
Next time take a folder with you, at least that way you could pass yourself as a food critic and taking photos would be acceptable.

They forgot to cook your loin and lamb
It's Claridges, surely this kind of thing happens often. It's pretty much a tourist destination.
I thought Claridges lost its star?
Sounds awful, probably why I've never been.![]()
You know what?I think after eating the things you mentioned,i would stop at a Mc Donalds later on?I would NEVER have enough with the things laying on your plate...
I'm sure there are plenty of other restaurants for people like you and Lysander which won't have you tutting and looking down your noses at people who are enjoying a rare experience so yes I agree.
Doesn't Ramsey's places cook everything offsite and the ship it in to be reheated ?
