How can you lose a Lighthouse?

tbh... I wouldn't be surprised if it was simply designed to waste the time of people at GCHQ, NSA etc...
The Russians set up some station broadcasting a load of beeps, put some meaningless patterns inside the signals and in the process resources get used up at agencies trying to intercept russian comms.

It wouldn't surprise me too, if it was simply there to waste GCHQ's time. Even if they did broadcast a completely random message there would be people seeing if it meant something. And you wouldn't be able to not listen to it, just in case. What a great way of adding some extra load to the 'enemy' resources
