The Ashes 2010-11: Australia v England ** spoilers **

pretty hot and humid at the ground though no sign of the sun. Keep getting told to sit down by the locals.

Damn it, just when i thought the partnership was kooking great, cook gets caught :(

Adelaide peeps are very strange not like us Queenslanders :D

just yell out Crows suck and see what the reception is

Harris looking like he's bowling himself to a long stint on the physio table..KP looking to accelerate it seems hold onto your hats :D

Collingwood barely has to move to get his 50, he's being given 4s on a plate. Lap it up lad.

180 or so ahead. If I were the England captain I'd think about declaring soon. We still have another innings and it gives our bowlers breathing space in terms of time and a few runs.

Forecast is looking up though so may be sensible to bat out a wee bit longer. Still two days and two sessions to play.

KP not far from his double century now. Hit a few more 4s like that and he'll be there in no time.

I reckon England will put >500 on the board this weekend, then wrap up on Monday by skittling Australia for <300.

I must be psychic! :D

Current score...

  • Wodonga Under 15s: 245

  • South Africa A: 4 for 493

Bell will be fine, I bet both of these bat till we declare now.

400 Lead and we should declare. (or if KP is near a 300) let him keep going for it.

Then fresh day 4 hopefully get a couple before lunch, let Swann on after lunch, hopefully get some crazy turn like North and we're laughing.

(if this goes to plan) :P

I refuse to be churlish about the rain given the number of escapes engineered by the England team over the years, but it's nice to have the Aussies being the ones grateful for the rain to help scrape a draw :p

This is just great. England are 551-4 (143 overs):

Strauss b Bollinger 1
Cook c Haddin b Harris 148
Trott c Clarke b Harris 78
Pietersen not out 213
Collingwood lbw b Watson 42
Bell not out 41
Extras 28

The lead is 306 runs.

Play has not resumed because of the rain.
