There should be a cooking sub-forum. Won't ever happen though.![]()
Good idea. I'd be interested in that.

youtube links generally all go in 1 thread, "link and run" threads will often be deleted if not accompanied by some sort of discussion topic
Why have any subforums at all then, after all there is always the back button! Perhaps trying to improve the quality of overall posting and organisation of a forum is a bit better than encouraging people to have to navigate through swathes of nonsense to try and find the diamonds in the rough.A sub-forum will dilute what is an interesting place. When it comes to threads you don’t like there is always the back button.

Sorry who are you?
Yup that's how I feel about it. That's what GD is for. If someone wants to generate a debate with a linked article - fantastic. If it's just a post a link - here you go. Then frankly it might as well just be spam.
Sorry who are you?
Who are you, seriously?Very funny.
Maybe new rule time?![]()
Its fine as it is, no point I can see in fragmenting general discussion.
However, we'd end up closing 70%* of the threads owing to the lack of sensibe content!![]()
If it's there for people to see and discuss, I don't see the problem?[TW]Fox;17936613 said:So if its moderator opinion that posting news articles whilst offering zero opinion or original content whatsoever is not really what we want in GD, would you mind popping over to simulatorman's thread where I am currently being beaten with a stick for daring to criticise him for doing just that by a bunch of people for whom the irony of whinining on the internet about somebody who was whining on the internet has passed by?
Thanks![]()
