So, who hates the new Facebook layout?

I can't wait for the day this particular fad dies out :p

What keeping in contact and organising things with friends?

Either:

a) Your the sort of person that doesnt talk to their friends

or

b) You have no friends

omg facebook has changed again omg omg call the police etc.

New layout seems OK. No idea why they change it so often, but tbh I don't care. It won't take long before we get used to it all, and forget what it used to look like.

I don't really care about the new layout. I've enabled it. It's not bad. It's not great either. What I am concerned about is that for the next two weeks I'm going to have to tell the majority of people on my facebook to STFU with their "JOIN THIS GROUP TO GET THE OLD FACEBOOK BACK!" status updates.

I haven't seen it.

I have to say I do like it for keeping in touch with most of my friends who live around the world - it's easier than sending a skype message or mass emails. It's also a nice repository for pics.

It's a fun way of letting your friends know what you're up to IMO.

I have a brain to accomplish these

So do I, but if i want to organise a curry night for all my mates coming back from uni, i can do it in about 3 mins and if arrangements need to change I can message everyone at once.

And atm I have no money so am on Pay&Go and cant afford credit, so i use to it keep in contact with people.

If you migrate to the new profile can you revert to the old one if you want to?

I dont think so :(

You could always reinstall it though :)

The only thing that I dont really like is the band of pics at the top, your Display Picture should represent you enough, and if people want to see more then they can go through your pictures :)

I actually googled it after reading and here is what I found:

some users have reported that they have successfully switched back to the old layout by deactivating Facebook account for 10 - 15 minutes and then reactivate it again, you will get the old Facebook Profile Page back. I have just tried that way and it works for me. So, did it work with you?

One of my friends has it and can't say I'm very taken with the way data is structured. Will stick to traditional till they force update everyone.

I just opted-in to try it.

Is it really that different... no.

The top of your profile page is just a little bit more like Linked-In, where it summaries who you are and what you have been up to.

Only two issues I've spotted so far.
Your main profile picture touches the margin to the right of it.
Nothing else does, it feel like it should have some space before it.

I can't seem to remove interests like music artists.

Hmmm. I'll pass (i.e., won't opt in). I'm not sure I like the photo thing at the top. Everything else is fine. Although I find drawing attention to "best friends" and the like a little... odd.
