Just a heads up for people playing B-Spec mode. At level 20 you unlock the Extreme series of events. As you will have seen from playing through, you unlock additional drivers. The first 3 events in Extreme introduce fuel and tyre damage along with increased race times (20 mins + in a top spec car). The level 22 set introduce long races and driver swaps for pitting.

The Suzuka in the rain event can be done in 20 mins in A-Spec. in B-Spec however, it takes 1.5 hours and requires 2 driver swaps. You can set your driver to pit when he reaches a strength level, but you need to input the required refueling volume before you get into the pit. Some races you do not need to refuel but some such as Suzuka require you to or you will DNF.

Ignore the Top four records. Those were done after a mapped the car (stage 3 engine mod and chip).

Lambo was also moded to around 600bhp.

All done with no aids!
 
love this vid, sums things up nicely regarding the ai me thinks....so retarded.


and i found out today that the ai and damage DO NOT increase as you level up, i love it as its been 100% proven now yet the fanboys still claim it exists by constantly upping the levels required to see such 'amazing' damage :rolleyes:

Just noticed a bit of a glitch using the DFGT wheel on the top gear lotus race ASM is turned off and cannot be turned on in the menu but it can be flicked on during the race hit the enter button on the progressive red dial flick down to ASM and turn it on.

i would only recommend it if your having trouble completing the race as it's quite easy to get to 3rd place by the time you reach the hammerhead on the first lap

I like to find my challenge online.

AI can be a little retarded at times.... Not overly bothered though. As long as they drive in the right direction Im happy!
 
Hi people i am struggling with what to use for the historic car cup any suggestions welcome i have the credits to buy but not many options i also have plenty of good cars i will be willing to trade if anyone has a good car for that event that i could atleast borrow cheers

Which one? If you mean the historic racing one in the expert events then I did it with a tuned Dodge Challenger. Deep Forest was tricky but if you resort to pushing the Toyota 7 off, if he's in your race then it's just plain sailing after that.
 
Will the stealth cars become DLC at a later date do you think?

If so, any ideas or guesses on price?

I bought 2 stealth cars for about £1.50 each from HMV

The Audi R10 had room for a bigger turbo (£30k) and is now up to 785hp at just 875 Kg

Did a 6m16s lap of the Nurburgring in it last night :D

this trophy looks insanely hard to get

Achieve a time of 7'29.03 on the Nurburgring Nordschleife in a Nissan GT-R '07. The record must be achieved in a Time Trial in the Arcade mode version of the car with tires of Sports Hard grade or lower equipped.
