just over 4 hrs to go!

got my 25 quests ready to hand in, argent tabard and HS at the ready!

will be going all night, see how far i get or if i can last through to 85 (unlikely).
 
Mine hasn't arrived today! Nevermind, there is always the next year or two until the next expansion to catch up.

Let us know how the lag fest is :)
 
You know what I am not the slightest bit fussed about this expansion now. I have even canceled the 2 days off I had planned. So no reason to rush at all. Weird

I read the amazing small print on mine -

I dont understand the whole staying up all night and power questing your ass off to level up,

surely everyone will catch up within a week or two anyway and youve achieved nothing?
 
This isn't going to be a fun night.

Login servers are currently busy and I can't even buy Cata with the gift voucher I have because the sodding game place's website is down!

Even if I manage to buy it, downloading it won't be a fun experience! :mad:
 
You can download it now by changing account type from LK to CT in the launcher and config files in the WTF folder, do that start the launcher and it will then start a ~800 MB download, then if you do get sorted your good to go at 11.

Because i can use this first night to rake in a lot of mats for all the people levelling bs and other crafting professions and proceed to make a mint until the prices settle.:D
 
I've always been wanting to try WOW; but I went to download the trial a few weeks ago and just ran into so many problems.

If I were to go and buy Cataclysm tomorrow; is there anything else I'd have to purchase as well? Monthly membership..?
 
If my copy doesn't arrive tomorrow I'm going to go ape at a certain retailer who promised "delivery on release". With the status saying "Dispatching soon for the last 9 hours I'm getting concerned.
 
You would need , Original Wow, Burning crusade,and wrath before cataclysm. Blizz has an offer at the min if it helps you get started any cheaper. Yep there is a monthly sub, think its £8.99 but canna remember.

You get 30 days free when you buy initial wow, you would need wow, tbc expansion, wrath expansion and cata to play 85+ content.

Best bet would be to buy original wow and tbc, maybe wrath depending on how fast you might level, and onyl but cata when needed.

Let me Refer you to wow :D.

That way if you join i get a cool mount, i'll gift you one either normal wow or tbc if you do

Theres also no point in you buying cataclysm yet. Just buy the original game and burning crusade as wotlk and cataclysm won't get you anything new until you actually hit level 70.
