It would have been cheaper to pay to download it.

Collectors Edition.

I'm tempted to buy it from Blizzard and then see if I can add the collectors edition pet.

I'm not annoyed at not having the game per say, I'm annoyed at paying £12 and not having the game.

They can't use the snow as an excuse as it's gone. My dad has had 3 parcels arrive (UK mail / DHL / Royal mail) which were all dispatched Monday the same as mine.

No sign of City Link.

I had Vanilla + TBC installed previously but removed it due to lack of interest at the time. I'm tempted to create a new character now that Cata is out but I'm a little confused. I know I'll have to buy WotLK and Cata if I want to play one of the new races, but does this new downloader include all versions? It's not very clear from my download in progress if I'll have to download and install WotLK and Cata as well or if this includes it all.

just had a look at the Re-roll guild and PvP? eek never done a PvP server before don't like the idea of being killed while trying to do quests and such.

It's really not that bad, and just adds a bit more realism to the game.

once thats finished you should be able to play but think you will have to install WotLK and cata if you buy them but don't think they are that big.

You do kinda get used to it - just have to make sure you dont get emotional about getting killed!

As for installing the game. You need to create a battle.net account and add the games to that account. Running just the Cataclysm DVD/Online Cataclysm Setup will do.

You don't need to install ANY of the older expansions AT ALL. You just need to have them activated on your battle.net account.

Oh right. 9GB could be correct. I downloaded something like 12GB from start to finish for a clean install.

nah it won't be that bad im sure Cata is only 800Mb.

Yeah, though if you haven't bought them yet there isnt even any need to do that until level 70/80 unless you want to play a goblin or worgen.

Oh and going by that picture of your downloader, you're good to hit play and get ingame. It will continue downloading in the background or if you go somewhere it hasnt downloaded yet it will prioritise that.

Just for clarification for everyone - If you buy the original game, you download all the cataclysm content as the servers run a particular game 'version' You have the data, just have to unlock it by buying the other expansions and upgrading account via battlenet, but no further downloads are necessary. If you are online, you have the current patch!

just done the quests out the back of ogrimmar (forgot the place), dont know if these are all part of the new early level quests, but they were great, really fun, got to drive a huge robot about, and ive finally got used to my hunter and with beast mastery its so easy/fun to take down enemeys, fire an arrow, send the pet in, do kill command, then finish him off with one more steady shot

That'll be Azshara, and yeah its been totally redesigned, I even went back and did the questline on a couple of my lvl 80's its that awesome! Plus you get an awesome helm at the end of it that changes you into a random race for 30 mins, with a 30 min cooldown, so you can be a random race any time you like! Was fun standing in middle of Org as a NElf mage, or a goblin mage before Cata was released!

Is it bad that I'd been playing since Sep 05, but properly since May 06, played all the way through to may this year and quit. I then came back in august because i missed the game. Played for 2 months and then quit again.

Now Cata is released, I'm almost finding my self missing the game again. Grrrr its so annoying. Not even like I'm bored either, as I've got World of Tanks and Black Ops to Play
