I think that you HAVE to do the championship, doing individual races does not unlock anything (but don't come and shoot me)
Correct, and VERY annoying. I tried it the other day on a 3 race series and you have to do the actual championship to get the prize car.
If you finish first on each individual race you only have to finish first overall in the championship for the prize.
This was not what I wanted to hear
I can easily win all the races once I get underway, it just takes 10 goes to get a clean start for each race, and survive the first corner![]()

I need a supervisor to watch me play and stop me from doing silly things... Like spending nearly 200k on modding an '88 Volvo 240 Estate...
Getting annoyed with the A-Spec Expert Historic Championship, managed 4-5 in my fully modded Lambo LP400, a decent 3rd in both races using the again fully modded Corvette... Ive also tried fully tuning my Cobra 427 '66 and i cannot even manage a lap without spinning.
From reading these and other forums, it seems the Lambo is the best bet, get in front into the first couple of corners and then block for 5 laps. This is more frustrating than the Camper Van challenge.
finally getting past the intial slow start that comes along with the GT series.
nearly enough cash to get my first ferrari and then hopefully open up a world of more challenging races
the only thing that is currently bothering me is there seems to be a limited number of events or do more unlock as you progress other then the 9 of each beginner - expert a spec races and the specials... i.e endurance, and manufacturer/model specific cars other then the ones in the general a spec section.
admitadly im only A lvl 15 and B lvl 1 as ive not had much time to play but i dont want to want more races and just be stuck repeating old ones or trying to gold licences or such
prepare for disappointment.

Seriously guys you should just try the Dodge Challenger race modified and then tuned further.
I love you.
Both events were so easy with that car, dread to think what will happen when my donut of a B-Spec driver has to do them though.
