Both events were so easy with that car, dread to think what will happen when my donut of a B-Spec driver has to do them though.
I bet you had to change the gearing though, sorry I forgot to mention. I think mine topped out at like 105MPH with the standard ratio.
Midfield Raceway and Apricot Hill spring to mind, and who can forget Complex String!

For anyone who cares the Multi-Millionaire Trophy is 10 million not 20 million as most places say. Now to blow it on an F1 car!
I was at six before a Formula Gran Turismo showed up I just won the "Pennyless" trophy for having NO money

Think I might go play this some more in a minute. I was planning on doing some Uncharted 2 but sod it, I'll do my trophies for that tomorrow. I need my racing fix.

Yeah, I had a Formula Gran Turismo show up when I was at 8 million but glad now I left it. Just doing Pennyless.... required me to get the calulator out and buy and sell till I was at a nice even number. Oil changes and Car washes all round!

I did that one at the start of my second playthrough. Bought the 19,000 MX-5 from the new car dealer and then stuck the 1,000 ECU upgrade on it.

yep i miss those 2 sorely + the new york track in GT3
Anyone notice a glitch when tuning up certain cars? on my lambo gallardo and lexus lfa when i tuned them a fair bit the engine noise went all raspy and distorted like. i was FURIOUS!!
i then figured out that taking all the mods of then go into any race or practice the car went back to normal- then apply all the mods agin and no more dodgy engine sound.
Decided to start rattling on through the events now, instead of going online all the time and drifting around Tsubuka.
I managed to get the Beginner's Series and Amatuer Series out of the way today. I'm most of the way through the next series as well, I think I just have the Gran Turismo Championship Event to do on that, atleast I think that's what it's called, my memory is shocking.
I finally got my first 1,000,000 CR as well, and then promptly had to spend 350,000+ on a F430 Scuderia and then another 350,000+ on a Merceilago SV for the two Events that only have one race each.
AMG Advanced Special Event seems strangely easy so far. I've got Gold on all of the sector time trials without really trying which is weird. The Advanced Top Gear Test Track Event with the Kubelwagens or whatever they are was also weirdly easy.

I've already seen I'll need to buy one for another event
But I'm not too bothered at the moment. The AMG Special Event has given me enough money.
There are so many things about this game that annoy me, most of them AI wise. But then again I still find it enjoyable and can't pull myself away from it.

Looks like the Ferrari F1 2010 car is a waste of money, good for one event only! Ah well at least I won't have to buy one when I get to that stage! lol
Very easy with the Veyron and that Supercar daytona track. Just up the top speed to the max....

Got that one last night (not that I'm chasing or bothered about trophies TBH, but I think it's when you go over 250MPH (someone will get their calculator out and work it out)

What's in the latest update that's 146MB then?
engine note is very dissapointing
Mechanical Damage setting, but apart from that no one really knows as I don't think there were any patch notes.
Still an excellent car both value and performance wise though.
