** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

Wanted to play my prot pally, logged on this evening to find that there seems to be no prot pallies left and now our AoE is really, really weak? :(

Probably old news to most but I haven't played for 4 months ;)
 
It's fine, you just don't instantly have unchallenged threat on every single mob you hit in the first second, you have to build it up just like other tanks, so you can't faceroll.
 
Okay, question.

Just been to SFK to try and do my Druid quest. It's me and the girlfriend, whos a priest.

We go in there, both level 25. I pull three mobs - one elite and two non. We wipe.

Okay, that's a strange one - all three mobs were level 19, yet that happened.

So we try again, pulling carefully and one by one. It's a long and slow process but we make it to the first boss, who promptly wipes us all over the walls in double time.

Is there something about this instance that i'm missing? I used to be able to pretty much solo most of the place at level 25?
 
Logging off for the night got from level 27 - 42 nearly 43 god i need to take a break soon and my repair seems to have fixed my problem so far anyway.

Really enjoyed both.

About to level my second of both when my copy of the game finally arrives :)
 
Got from 80 to 83 today, well, I had about 85% of 80 to 81 done last night from the dailys and BRC runs and some questing, just hit 81 today along with 82 and 83. Going to aim for the last two levels tomorrow.
 
I was supposed to be doing uni work this week but finished some and bought cata earlier. Got about half way to 81 and I'm just not really very impressed at all so far. I hate vashj'ir so have pondered off to mt hyjal to see if its any better there tomorrow.
 
Anyone else had the bug where you can't hand in any quests that require you chosing a reward as you don't get a delve when you mouse over them thus can't click until you relog the client? Pretty annoying :p

Ding 85 anyway \o/
 
Well I have just hit 83 and I am liking what I see. However has anyone else found issues with graphics in Deepholm? I kept gettign tearing, but only in there. Seems to be something people are complaining about but none of my mates have it...
 
Just hit 85 about an hour ago.

84-85 took soooooooooooooooooooooo long it was not even cool.

However I did make over 3K from leveling.
 
Nice, well doen those who are at lvl 85 already! Well I'm almost lvl 81 :D No rush here, At least on the way to lvl 85 I might get enough gold to lean the fast flying :D
 
halfway to 83 on my druid after startign a day after most people, not too bad.

Only done quests in hyjal so i'm off to vash'jir i think.

Got about fifteen stacks of obsidium ore, equal number of storm(whatever the hell herb its called) and cinderbloom, and quite a good few volatiles.

Time to put them on the ah before i hit the hay and see what thet bring in :o
 
So far im enjoying it a lot. Doing Vash'jir done about 2/3 of the quests. Currently just into level 82. a lot of my guild are already 85 :O. Ah well aiming to be 85 before the end of wed.
 
Annoyed as i cant pick this up til next week sounds like an awesome expansion :(

Ive decided though until i buy cata im just going to level my alts and so far thats going well, level 47 druid yesterday and after some play today its now almost 57, Silithis is pretty fun to level in.

Cant wait to level my hunter in vash'jir it sonds awesome.
