I have changed the path of the track that was coming out of the station to the spawn side of the station. I have just done it quickly so its a mess at the moment but just so you can see what I was thinking as it then joins up with the track that goes to tefals fort.

If you think its a good plan rhen I will tidy it up.

there is already a mine underneath it. if that's your then well done - looks like it didnt stop you then ;)

though i did take the liberty of patching up the hole in the station floor, left there by presumably by whoever dug that mine. anyway, it was my fault for spending the time clearning that land and not putting a sign down. wont happen again though!
 
Pointlessly large tower built with spiral staircase going down to centre of the map. Windows to be added one day in the future...
I suppose it can be my base of operations but I have to admit... I've wasted my night. :D
 
Been working on a few plans for the Titanic, I'm going to try and lay the foundation (stern) over the weekend. Once I get a few layers sorted and a general feel for the design, I'd be happy to have other people helping to put it together. At the moment I just want to make sure that it takes shape properly.

Many thanks to garsands for blowing a massive 400 x 56 hole in the map for me ;)

Also, I'm currently accepting any and all donations of cobblestone, dirt, sand, and obsidian!

First floor of the grain farm is complete :p


So far only one small fire which meant we ahd to replace the top floor paths with glass instead of wood, and 1 slight creeper problem when i forgot to light up the roof, which resulted in my first 2 deaths :( and the loss of all my tools, I be back on iron now, when it destroyed 3 rows of lava containment :o

Ah I know that feeling. Iron tools seem so slow after diamond. I can give you enough for a spare set of tools tomorrow if I see you on. I'm sure others have some spare as well.

i was thinking of something, might be tedious but would add a bit of realism to an extent (if its possible that is) - is for any warp points to be only allowed to travel from that airport some lad is building.

OK we cant really fly, but warping is the closest you get... so if the command /warp was restricted to the airport and the locations put in the terminal, then it adds a bit of... OK id love to warp there, but at the same time I have to use the airpor to do so...

Suggestion; do what the chaps did on the last server with cactus production, automate it by dropping the items drop into a flow of water that all leads back to one 'collection' point.

I still haven't seen this tbh, an the grain has been there for a while now.

Also no mention of it on the wiki

Maybe it was a bug and was fixed, all I know is that it was talked about on the minecraft forums at one point and when I tested it I watched and eventully they did 'auto-harvest' themselves. Maybe it was a bug to do with their growth or something, or lag that makes the crops think the square they are planted in is no longer valid or something. If your crops are still good then I guess it has been fixed, it's been a long time since I grew them myself due to the annoying bugs like this.
 
My house is the one that has REAC on the front and a sign saying "Reaction's House" above the door :) Quite close to spawn, but not one of the first things you see.
