Work at a school with a fairly large car park. In the evening sometimes theres a sports training thing with year 6s being brought in, usually by mums. Sixth former has a nice 06 Fiesta ST that he cleans weekly lol. Some stupid bint in an old mercedes R reg C class was reversing out and her front bumper caught his rear arch and rubbed it to the point that paint was exchanged and theres a litte dent. Two other sixth former and myself witnessed it (was out having a fag and heard it) The two sixth formers told her to stop and one went to get the owner. Apparently the lady told the remaing sixth "its just a car, don't have time for this" and "you'll learn about real life one day". She then drove off.
I've got the CCTV data of her reg, not the accident as it happened in an non covered spot. However the owner is hesitant to pursue as hes worried about his NCB etc.. am i right in assuming as its her insurance he'll not suffer for it? Does he have to tell his insurance?
Also, if he dosen't pursue, since i have two other witnesses can i report her for a hit and run?
