** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

Almost killed the first two Blackwing Descent bosses and killed the Tol Barad boss so far.

Good stuff! Need to farm heroics now though :p
 
So far got my hunter to lvl 85 and tamed Ghostcrawler spirit beast rare elite,Terrorpene elite rare , and Karoma spirit beast rare elite.
not bad in 2 days. now just farming gold for fun ;)
 
Finally level 85! Ring of Blood bugged so many times too. Ah well, at least in the morning I get to do lvl85 stuff...like....erm....
 
DAmned,totally forgot my old Blizzard login info.Now i try to merge my gamekeys to my new Battlenet account,and i get the "this key is already linked to another account"...I hope customer support can help me with this...I send them the gamekey from Vanilla Wow,i hope they can do something with it,would be sad if i need to rebuy all the games just to try Cata...

So tempted to buy Cataclysm and roll a goblin shaman, have a level 80 shaman already, and played goblin shaman in warhammer so i have an urge to do it, but best not, it'd ruin my last year of uni, maybe afterwards eh :D
 
Can anyone do a Cataclysm trial key? :/ seems my mate can't do one

& i have no idea about the current state of wow or what char to make so anyone have any advice?

But gearscore is great, when you want to group with people and they talk about gearscore you know to avoid them. Its like a massive newb alert, if only there was an addon that could show people were using it and put a massive arrow above their head

Blizzard are at it too :mad: I got the quest to go to BRC last night from Hyjal - couldn't use Dungeon Finder because my in-game gear score was too low (212 - 216 was required). Fortunately a few guildies also wanted to do it so I was able to do it with server folk. Was a pish easy instance (only wiped on one boss because we didn't know the encounter) and I got a blue mace from the first boss that took me to 220 gs.

To be fair the blizzard one is useful, not trying to say your bad but i remember a HoR heroic run where I was pulling 56% of the groups damage because the other 2 dps were so badly geared, ad I not been there that random group would have wiped on the gauntlet all day, hardly fair on the healer/tank.
