Dragon Age: Origins

I've just bought this after a successful rental period and started a new game with a different background. (Finished the story as a dwarf noble earlier)

Is Awakening worth it? It's helluva expensive on the PSN store and I haven't seen it pre-owned anywhere.

Nope, imo, it's like a third of the length and really easy (completed it on nightmare without my main character - dwarf warrior - dying once.)

For love nor money can i get into this game :O my gf bought it last xmas and ive played it for about 3 hours and never go back to it again! Any tips on getting into this game? I want to enjoy it as DA2 will be out in the coming year etc

Stick with it. It takes a good few hours to get going but its deffinately worth sticking with it...

Erm I don't think you can play it in 1st person unless you're on PC, and even then I'm not really sure?

I didn't play Oblivion but I loved this game, probably my favourite game on Xbox. Human noble starting story is probably the best, go for a duel-wielding rogue or warrior and it gets pretty fun pretty quickly. Obviously at the start the abilities you have are pretty limited sadly, and the whole forest thing locating the scrolls is a bit dull, but after that it gets rather good imo.

Got the Ultimate Edition waiting to be cracked open, I started a playthrough earlier this year on a rental copy and really enjoyed it. Can't wait to get started with a new fresh game and all the DLC

What does Awakening involve?

Does it let you go back to all the places from Origins?

Do any of your party remain?

It's absolute poo, would not recommend. It's rather easy and the plot lacks any sense of 'worth' or epicness like in the first one.
