** Official World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Thread **

A couple things ive noticed since playing Cataclsym:

Not sure if im imagining this?

It seems to be quicker to level up,maybe XP has been increased?

Quests seems a little easier than when i played Wow 8 months back?

All in all though im enjoying the game a lot and i have the wow bug again,you know the one that once you start playing and your glued to the screen :D

I must resist and have a bath :)

I noticed the same thing, then when i just about survived i got killed by an alliance player. I did scream at this point. :rolleyes:
 
completed gilneas on my worgen druid last night.......epic

and almost finished Lost Isles on my Gobbo too.....really good aswell

hats off to blizz really.......they realised the 1-60 sucked ass and have really delivered here :)
 
Does anyone think it would be useful to have a sticky/thread with all our char names and servers in it so people can see who plays where?

I don't mind starting/maintaining it if you do!
 
Okay guys, I've just gotten back into WoW with Cata after a 1-year break. My hearthstone is set to Dalaran. Blizzard kindly gave me 110g from old quest/honour badges. Not so kindly, I had a 22g repair bill, having obviously forgetting to repair a year ago!

Anyway, the Dalaran portals are all gone! I've picked up a quest for me to go to Mount Hajal. I guess I'm doing the right thing to get started with Cata levelling? Here I go - boat back to Stormwind, fly to Menethil Harbour, take the boat to Kalimdor then another flight to Mount Hyjal. That took a while, at least half an hour. Is there a quicker way of travelling without the portals? I'm not a mage. I'm a warlock, so I can't do portals.

Oh, and btw, post # 1111 :-)
 
Set your HS to SW, no more travelling needed :) Theres a portal in SW to Hyjal btw. Little island in the northern part of the map.
 
Downloading full game client now through Battle.net.Just wondering version it shows while downing is 4.03.13329.

When dowloading is done,do i only need to apply a Cataclysm key?Or also keys from previous expansions?
 
anyone suggest a mouse friendly class? like one that doesn't involve a lot of spells/abilites as i don't like key binding much prefer clicking with the mouse.

Ask some one for a portal, costs ya at most 50g, but saves you time. Win win.


p.s durability on items changed in 4.0 patch hence your repair bill.
